Threadless T-Shirt

Well, you may remember that I submitted a few designs to the threadless.com competition in October. It turns out they liked one of my shirts and they printed it! You may recognize the design from the front page.

New Look

Sunday, January 18th, 2004

I am starting to implement the new look for the site. This look should accommodate this blog, as well as the portfolio application I am working on. Unfortunately, I am noticing trouble with the site rendering in Mozilla 1.5 and Opera 7. The page validates as XHTML, but no content shows up when I load the page, so I am not sure what gives.

I’ll work it out soon, but in the meantime, you may ned to visit me with IE or Mozilla 1.6. I am not sure if there are any Mac issues, but I’ll get some friends to test it.

I apologize for any site squirrelliness.

Oh, right: this design is in homage to the design of LoobyLu by Claire Robertson. Right now it REALLY looks like her site, but I will be swapping out some graphics and colors before long to make it a little more “my own.” In the meantime, I like it because it is compact while still having space for all the tids and bits.

UPDATE: Opera suddenly works now, since this post. I don’t get it, but I won’t complain (too much).

Welcome

Friday, January 16th, 2004

If you are just finding me for the first time, hello.

Today is the first time I have linked to this blog from anywhere. I am getting close to overhauling the site, so don’t get used to the layout here. I have a design I like, but I need to do more browser testing and image tweaking. Oh, and I need to write all the code for my new portfolio application (PHP, MySQL, and latest/greatest CSS and xHTML), so I can show you what I have been doing in my studio and in my sketchbook. That may take a while, but in the meantime, I have been trying to write more, so I figured I would make this blog public to keep myself in line.

So feel free to peruse my old posts to get acquainted. And if you use a feed reader, this WordPress app automagically generates RDF, RSS 2.0, RSS 0.92, and Atom feeds.
