Where’s my Lomo?
I ordered a Lomo on Monday. I first learned about them from a.lifeuncommon.org, and now I can’t wait for the box to arrive. I went all-out when I ordered. They were offering a crate filled with not just the camera, but film, a book, some posters, etc. I figured, I am buying myself a present, I may as well buy myself a present!
Anyway, I thought, from the info on the website, that the thing would ship from New York, and I would have it by then end of this week. As it turns out, my crate is coming all the way from Vienna, Austria, where the main offices are, I think. Who knows how long this will take?
I’m all antsy because I am suddenly into photography again after finding the Mirror Project, and of course starting up enchanted ceiling after finally figuring out what I wanted to do with it. But I’ve always been a patient person. The wait will likely inspire me to finish more of what I have already started (like this site here, for example).
